List of Classes
Nursery |  | For newborns to three years old, the nursery includes videos for children to sing along with, toys, books, and puzzles to enrich children's time at church as they begin their walk with Christ. Cribs are available for children needing them. Snacks are available. Nursery care continues through the worship service. |
Beginners Class | Conway Baptist Church's Beginners Class is a fun and engaging space where preschoolers and kindergarteners can learn about Jesus. Each week, we feature a daily lesson, a hands-on craft, and an exciting video to help bring Bible stories to life. It's the perfect place for young children to grow in faith while having a great time! | |
Children |  | The Children's Class is an active class for 1st-3rd grade with Biblical lessons using provided children's Bibles or the child's own Bible and Lifeway Explore the Bible materials to learn Bible stories, build Bible knowledge, and learn memory verses. |
4th-6th Grade |  | Lessons in the 4th-6th Grade Class start with Lifeway Explore the Bible lessons and apply those lessons to the real lives' of the students to create free-flowing class discussions. |
The Zone Youth Class |   | The Zone is our Gen-Z focused class with breakout groups for middle school, high school, and college students. The Zone's scripture-based discussions are supported by Lifeway materials as well as snacks and sometimes breakfast. |
Dr. Thomas Vinson Class |  | The Dr. Thomas Vinson Class is a discussion oriented class for those in their early twenties to mid forties. The class features free-flowing discussion on topics selected by the class. Recent topics include keeping Christian practice during busy times, Christianity and marriage, and the duty of charity in Christian life. |
Willie McLawhorn Class |   | Our class is named after our former Pastor, Willie McLawhorn. We are a small class with both men and women, couples, and singles, parents and grandparents. We currently follow a curriculum from LifeWay where we have lecture-style lessons, but interaction is encouraged. We have completed other video- and book- based studies besides the Lifeway curriculum in the past. Our lessons are not sequentially based but rather topic based. We like to discover how our lessons apply in our everyday life and help us grow in our relationship with Christ. Although we are small, our numbers have increased in the last year and we are always welcoming to new members. We can be a lively bunch. |
James Hester Class |  | The James Hester Sunday School class was founded in the early 1980's by Reverend James Hester, a former pastor of the church. The class was targeted toward the young adults in the church. Through the years the class has aged and members range in age from middle age to senior adults. The two teachers use Bible Studies for Life and rotate teaching to an actively attended class. All are welcome to join us. |
Couples Class | ||
Lee Duncan Class |  | The Lee Duncan class loves discussing the Bible with each other and having fun together. The class bases their discussions, for singles and couples 30 and older, on Lifeway Bible Studies for Life. |

Goodwill Bible Class |  | The Goodwill Bible Class was founded in 1951 and is on its third teacher with Linwood Coggins being called to teach the class in 2008. Currently a class of men, the Goodwill Bible Class welcomes anyone and hopes everyone finds a church home. Each prepared lesson includes scripture and facts of interest and class discussion often connects to farming, current events, and historical context. |
